The topic
Genitourinary (GU) cancers, including prostate, bladder, and kidney cancers, remain among the most common and impactful malignancies worldwide, accounting for more than 2 million new cases and over 800,000 deaths each year. Despite major advances in diagnosis and treatment, many patients still face significant unmet needs, highlighting the continued need for innovation, multidisciplinary collaboration, and personalized therapeutic approaches. The rapidly evolving landscape of GU oncology offers new opportunities to improve outcomes and quality of life for patients affected by these life-changing diseases.
Investigator‑initiated trials (IITs) let us test smart combinations, sequences, and biomarker‑driven strategies that come directly from day‑to‑day clinical questions.
At MEDSIR, we team up with leading GU investigators and industry to turn those questions into well‑designed studies that generate evidence and, ultimately, better options for our patients.
