HUMAN RESOURCES & QUALITY DEPARTMENT
With a Degree in Pharmacy obtained in Caracas, Venezuela, and a Master´s Degree in Pharmaceutical Marketing from Pompeu Fabra University, IDEC Barcelona, Claudia started her career as a Clinical Research Associate for a CRO and international companies such as Sanofi-Aventis and Eli Lilly.
During her professional career, she has worked on the development of epidemiological trials, was involved in multiples international clinical trials from phases I to IV around Spain and studies in Nephrology, Hypercholesterolemia, Lipid Units, Central Nervous System (CNS) and Oncology.
From 2012 to 2018, Claudia held the position of Project Manager of her own business, developing social and corporate events, teambuilding for multiple local and international companies such as Novartis, Esteve, Ferrer, Almirall, FCB, Danone, EY, etc.
She is currently applying her knowledge and experience of team building, event coordination, account management, and customer service to her new role as Human Resource Specialist within MedSIR’s People Management Department. Claudia’s strengths include a great attitude, doing things well and providing excellence for the external clients and the internal team.
Claudia is fluent in Spanish and English.
With a Degree in Health Sciences from the University of Barcelona, Duna initiated her career in Clinical Research after her Master’s in Clinical Trial Coordination at the Faculty of Medicine of the Hospital Clínic of Barcelona. Additionally, Duna went on to earn a Master’s in Management of Research & Development of European Projects at IDEC.
As a Clinical Research Associate (CRA) at the Hospital Sant Pau, Duna was involved in clinical trials in Hematology, Rheumatology and Psychiatry. Since 2003, she has assumed multiple roles as a CRO, CRA, Head of the Communications Department, and as Project Manager in clinical trials and medical marketing projects. Duna also had the opportunity to collaborate in the development of Clinical Practice Guidelines for the treatment of follicular lymphoma.
From 2012 to 2015, Duna held the position of Project Manager of clinical trials at MedSIR. She currently is applying her knowledge of Psychology in the role of People Manager within MedSIR’s Human Resources Department as well as collaborating with the Quality Assurance Department.
Duna is fluent in Catalan, Spanish, and English.
Nastenka joins the MedSIR team with over 25 years of corporate experience within both Fortune 500 companies like JPMorgan Chase and Wyndham Hotels, as well as private sector organizations like Travelport, Topline Cosmetics and Electromagnetic Technologies.
Nas has vast experience working under C-Suite executives helping to build, organize and support global teams.
She is creative and focused and strives to assist to set up and support the growth of MedSIR US operations to its fullest potential. She studied Marketing and Spanish at St. Peter’s University, in the US.
Nas reads, writes and speaks both Spanish and English. Some of her hobbies include reading, cooking, watching baseball and coordinating get-together with friends and family.
Jose has a Degree in Business Administration and for over 20 years has worked as an accountant at Decoraciones Barcelona S.A. He also worked for a year at Control Johnson in their engineering department on the implementation of SAP within the Corsair project.
In 2009, Jose spent a full year in Haiti and India in a philanthropic role on social projects. This valuable experience helped to bring together his life’s passions: his children, photography and literature. Until this day, he remains fully dedicated to collaborating with international social organizations based in Spain.
Jose joined MedSIR in February 2017 in the Financial Department collaborating on the implementation of the company’s accounting into the Dynamic NAV database. He is currently the lead IT person for the company.
Jose is in the process of finishing his first novel and is also works closely with two of the world’s most recognized photographers. He enjoys trekking, hiking and basketball and has a weakness for music and cinema.
He speaks Spanish, Italian, and Catalan fluently and has a working knowledge of English and French.
